These Terms govern the Fableturn interactive fiction service, its cloud features, subscriptions, community story templates, and related support. The iOS application identifier is com.voloshinskii.adventure.
1. Who provides the service
The service is operated by IE VOLOSHINSKII MAKSIM, an individual entrepreneur registered in Georgia (“we”, “us”, or “Operator”). “You” means the person using the service.

2. Your agreement and Apple’s licence
The app’s software licence is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Standard EULA”), unless a valid custom licence is expressly supplied through Apple. These Terms supplement that licence for our service; publishing them on this website does not replace the Standard EULA or register a custom EULA with Apple.
These Terms apply as a contract when they are properly brought to your attention and validly accepted through the app or another lawful process. Visiting this page alone does not establish acceptance. A purchase offer and commitments expressly made when you subscribe also form part of the relevant agreement.
Mandatory law takes priority. Apple’s applicable platform rules and the Standard EULA govern matters within their scope. A specific purchase commitment takes priority over a general description here. The Privacy Policy explains data processing; accepting these Terms does not provide blanket consent to unrelated processing.
Nothing in these Terms removes a consumer, privacy, refund, or other right that applicable law does not allow you to waive.
3. Age and account eligibility
The service is intended for adults aged 18 or older. You must also have the legal capacity required to enter this agreement where you live. If you do not meet these requirements, do not create an account, submit content, or purchase a subscription.
Stories may contain fantasy conflict, horror, suspense, death, and other mature themes. An age restriction does not permit prohibited content under section 9. Apple’s age rating, device restrictions, purchase authorisations, and account requirements also apply.
If you connect Apple or make a purchase, use an Apple Account and payment method that you are authorised to use. Protect access to your device and account, and contact us if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity you authorise; this does not make you automatically liable for a security failure outside your control.
4. How the game works
You choose a world or create a story premise, define a fictional character, and enter actions. An AI model generates scenes, possible next actions, and updates to the story’s remembered facts and inventory. Saved history and structured game state are used to continue the adventure.
Your guest profile is authenticated using a random secret stored in the device Keychain. Keep access to the device or link Apple before moving to another device. Without a linked Apple account, losing that credential may make the profile unrecoverable. Linking a new Apple identity preserves the profile; restoring a different existing Apple profile does not merge stories or subscriptions.
Before using the service, confirm that you are at least 18 and accept these Terms. AI generation additionally requires your explicit permission to send story content to OpenRouter and its selected inference providers. You can withdraw that permission in Profile. While your subscription or trial remains active, you can still read saved stories without allowing new AI generation.
Live generation requires an internet connection, an authenticated account, an active subscription or trial, an available usage allowance, and working third-party services. The app creates a guest account automatically. Sign in with Apple is optional and lets you recover a linked profile on another device. Saved stories may be readable from a local cache while you have access to gameplay, but new scenes always require the live service.
AI output is probabilistic. A scene may repeat itself, contradict earlier events, misinterpret an action, or update an item incorrectly. We cannot promise a particular plot, response time, level of originality, or perfectly consistent memory. These limitations do not exclude remedies for a service that fails to meet an agreed description or mandatory quality requirements.
Generated characters and events are fictional. The game is for entertainment and should not be relied on for medical, legal, financial, emergency, or other professional decisions. A character’s dialogue does not represent our views or a statement about a real person.
5. Subscriptions, prices, and renewal
Fableturn Plus is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription. Both plans currently provide the same monthly gameplay allowance. The annual plan is billed for the year, not in monthly instalments.
Current access offer, updated October 13, 2026: gameplay requires an active Plus subscription or trial. Eligible Apple Accounts can receive a seven-day free trial on either plan when that offer appears in the purchase confirmation. Apple determines eligibility; choosing a different plan or creating another Fableturn profile does not provide another introductory trial. The selected plan renews at its displayed price when the trial ends unless you cancel in time. Cancelling a free trial may end access immediately under Apple's rules.
The amount, currency, billing period, and any applicable taxes or introductory offer shown in Apple’s purchase confirmation are the offer you are accepting. Prices can vary by storefront. A displayed monthly equivalent for an annual plan is a comparison, not its billing schedule. No free trial is included unless it is expressly shown in the purchase offer.
Apple processes payment through your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled in time under Apple’s subscription rules. To avoid the next renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, or by any different deadline Apple expressly gives you. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your device’s Settings under your Apple Account’s Subscriptions, or through Apple’s subscription management page.
Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Access continues until the entitlement expires, unless a refund, revocation, or another valid restriction changes it. Deleting the app, deleting a story, signing out, or deleting your Fableturn account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Price changes for renewals follow Apple’s notification and consent processes and applicable law. We do not use changes to these Terms to rewrite the price of a completed purchase.
6. Turns, limits, and failed requests
Plus currently includes up to 3,000 successfully saved AI turns per account per calendar month. The allowance resets at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each month. This reset is separate from Apple’s billing anniversary and applies to both monthly and annual plans. Starting a subscription partway through a month gives access to that month’s remaining available allowance while the subscription is active.
Unused turns do not roll over. Turns are a service usage allowance, have no cash value, and cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged. An annual subscription does not make a year’s allowance available at once. Re-subscribing in the same calendar month does not reset turns already used in that month.
No separate free-turn allowance is offered. An inactive, expired, or revoked subscription does not provide new AI turns. Historical complimentary usage does not renew or unlock gameplay. Opening scenes do not use a generated turn. A seven-day trial, when available, uses the same monthly allowance as Plus while the trial is active.
A turn is counted after the generated result is successfully saved. A request may temporarily reserve a turn while it runs. Failed requests release the reservation; a failure or interrupted response should not cause two charges for the same saved turn. If a connection fails after a result has been saved, recovering that same result still counts as the original successful turn. Contact us if the displayed allowance appears wrong.
Request-rate limits, input-length limits, and one active generation per account protect service stability. These controls may delay a request even when turns remain. Deliberately creating accounts or automating requests to evade limits is prohibited. A paid allowance is not an unlimited service.
7. Restoration, refunds, and purchase problems
RevenueCat helps us verify purchases, retrieve offers, restore access, and maintain subscription status. Use the same relevant Apple Account and Fableturn account when restoring a purchase. Restoration verifies an existing entitlement; it does not restore stories you deliberately deleted.
For an Apple-billed purchase, you can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple determines requests under its rules and applicable law. We cannot promise that every request will be approved, and we do not apply a blanket “no refunds” rule that would override your rights.
If you were charged but cannot access the service, contact us with a description of the problem and a relevant transaction reference. Do not send your Apple password, full payment-card details, or verification codes. Statutory rights to withdrawal, repair, restoration of access, price reduction, or a refund remain available where applicable. Any legally required express agreement about the start of digital performance or loss of a withdrawal right must be obtained through a valid process, not inferred from this paragraph.
8. Your input and generated stories
You retain the rights you already have in the material you submit. You must have the rights and permissions needed for us to process it. Do not submit confidential material, another person’s private information, or protected work you are not entitled to use.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transmit, format, and process your content to operate the features you request, generate and save your stories, provide support, and enforce these Terms. This includes processing by service providers described in the Privacy Policy. The licence is limited to those purposes and lasts as long as necessary for them, subject to section 10 for content you publish and lawful retention obligations.
As between you and us, you may use generated text from your adventures, including outside the app, to the extent we are entitled to permit that use. We do not claim exclusive ownership of your story merely because it was generated through the service. AI output may not qualify for copyright protection, may resemble output provided to someone else, and may contain material that requires third-party permission. We do not guarantee exclusive rights or clearance for publication, commercial use, or use of a third party’s characters or trademarks.
Our app software, branding, supplied artwork, and curated world material remain protected by their applicable rights and licences. Access to a world does not grant a general right to redistribute our artwork or the entire catalogue. References or familiar genre elements do not imply an affiliation with a film studio, game publisher, or other rights holder.
9. Prohibited uses and content
You must not use the service to:
- Create or share sexual content involving minors, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate material, or pornography.
- Facilitate real-world violence, terrorism, self-harm, trafficking, fraud, or other unlawful conduct, or provide actionable instructions for those activities.
- Threaten, stalk, harass, defame, or target people with hateful abuse; expose private information; or impersonate someone deceptively.
- Infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights, including by publishing a scenario you have no right to share.
- Upload malware, attack the service, gain unauthorised access, extract credentials, bypass payment or usage restrictions, or interfere with other users.
- Use bots, bulk generation, scraping, or account farming to exploit the consumer gameplay service without our permission.
Fictional framing does not excuse unlawful material or the prohibited uses above. Safety controls may refuse an action or limit output. Do not try to defeat those controls. A moderation decision does not establish that every other piece of content is safe, accurate, or lawful.
11. Privacy and third-party AI
The Privacy Policy describes how account data, story content, purchases, and technical records are processed. Live actions and the relevant story context are transmitted through OpenRouter to an inference provider. Cloud generation is not end-to-end encrypted from you to yourself: the service and providers must process the text to generate a response.
Use fictional names and details. Do not place passwords, financial credentials, medical records, or other sensitive personal material into a story. Stop using live generation if you do not want further story context sent to the AI service. Where separate consent is legally required, it must be obtained separately; these Terms do not replace it.
12. Deleting stories or your account
You can delete individual adventures from your library or request deletion of your account in Profile. A successful account deletion removes your adventures, related publication records, and account-linked gameplay records from our active service database and signs you out on the requesting device. Limited records, backups, third-party transaction records, and copies made by others are treated as described in the Privacy Policy.
Deletion is intended to be permanent. Keep any material you wish to retain before deleting it. Uninstalling the app alone does not request deletion of your cloud account. If you cannot access the account, contact us so we can verify and assist with the request.
Cancel a subscription separately through Apple if you do not want it to renew. Account deletion does not itself issue a refund or cancel a payment obligation that is valid under the applicable purchase terms.
13. Availability and service changes
We may update the app, replace or reroute AI models, improve safety controls, correct defects, and change features. Performance and output can change with the model or provider. Network interruptions, maintenance, provider outages, and capacity limits can affect availability. We will take reasonable steps to address service problems brought to our attention.
We will provide appropriate advance notice of a material change or discontinuation where reasonably possible and legally required. Changes will not retrospectively remove a paid commitment or mandatory remedy. If a material reduction affects a paid service, applicable rights to terminate, cancel renewal, or seek a refund remain available.
We cannot promise perpetual hosting or indefinite compatibility with every version of iOS. If we discontinue the service, we will communicate the effect on paid access and saved content and provide a reasonable opportunity to preserve content where feasible and required by law.
14. Restricting access and termination
We may restrict an account, request, or publication where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, fraud, prohibited content, a security threat, an invalid entitlement, or a legal requirement. A restriction should be proportionate to the issue. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to correct a remediable breach. Urgent threats or legal restrictions may require immediate action.
You may contact us to challenge a restriction or an apparent mistake. A restriction does not automatically eliminate a refund entitlement or other mandatory remedy. You may stop using the service at any time; subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate actions.
Rights and obligations relating to accrued payments, lawful retention, existing shared copies, intellectual property, and disputes continue only to the extent relevant and enforceable after termination.
15. Warranties and responsibility
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill, subject to commitments in your purchase offer and applicable law. We do not promise that AI output will always be correct, unique, uninterrupted, or suitable for a purpose outside the described entertainment service.
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied guarantees beyond those required by law or expressly given. No exclusion applies where it would remove a mandatory quality obligation or remedy, liability for fraud or intentional misconduct, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
To the extent a limitation is legally permitted, we are not responsible for remote or unforeseeable losses, or business losses from using a consumer entertainment service for business purposes. This does not exclude foreseeable loss caused by our breach where the law requires compensation, or liability for a breach of data-protection duties. We do not impose a blanket monetary cap that overrides mandatory consumer rights.
You are responsible for harm attributable to your unlawful use under applicable law. These Terms do not require a consumer to reimburse us for every third-party claim, pay our defence costs regardless of fault, or indemnify us for our own unlawful conduct.
16. Complaints, governing law, and courts
Send a complaint to me@voloshinskii.com with the issue and the resolution you are seeking. We will consider it in good faith. Contacting us is not a mandatory waiting period before approaching Apple, a regulator, or a competent court and does not shorten a legal deadline.
These supplementary Terms are governed by Georgian law to the extent a choice of that law is valid and compatible with the Standard EULA. Consumers keep mandatory protections of the law that would otherwise apply, including protections in their country of habitual residence where applicable conflict-of-laws rules require them.
For disputes not governed by a mandatory forum rule or the Standard EULA’s applicable provisions, the competent courts of Tbilisi, Georgia are the forum to the extent that agreement is enforceable. You retain any non-waivable right to bring a claim in your home jurisdiction. These Terms contain no mandatory private arbitration requirement or waiver of protected collective remedies.
17. Changes to these Terms and other provisions
A revised version will state its effective date. Material changes will be brought to your attention by an appropriate method, and renewed agreement will be sought where required. Changes apply prospectively and do not retrospectively waive an accrued claim, reduce an existing paid promise, or authorise a new data use without its required legal basis.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue only where they can lawfully and fairly operate independently. Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a general waiver. A lawful business transfer may transfer the service agreement to a successor, subject to required notice or consent and preservation of your rights.
